And now, the UNGA has overwhelmingly backed and voted with Palestinian resolution to end Israeli occupation: of course Israel, US, and a few other countries, including Europeans, voted against it. The Harris/Walz campaign continues to lauding the narrative and myths of rape on Oct 7th and two-state solution while Israeli occupying forces conduct genocide in Palestinian. The American Empire keeps breaking “The rules-based international order”--do as I say not as I do— its imposition on the rest of countries, to retain its hegemony; the global South is determined to change it to “Law-Based International Order” to hold everycountry accountable. These are trying times for humanity: war, famine, climate change. What’s our strategy to counter fascism, genocide? Do we have a plan for this year’s election? Post election? Are we ready to defend the democratic institutions if fascism reigns in the halls of power? Is social democracy one option to counter fascism? What progressive policies shall we demand from liberal Harris/Walz administration? Their war policies on Russia, Ukraine, Palestine, Sudan, Iran, and Israel remain on the same track as the Biden administration. These are issues of our times that require our utmost attention! Coates published his 2008 hymn for Israel, "The Negro Sings of Zionism", which he followed with"The Case for Reparations" in 2014. The essay, which sparked criticism among Palestine advocates, made him a darling of American Zionists. Coates presented Israel as the model for reparations and thought African Americans ought to do the same as the Israeli state did with Germans.
