Tuesday night's SHM program guide, 6 Aug. Hi everyone, Hiroshima and Nagasaki: Today, 6 Aug, is the 79th commemoration of dropping the Atomic bomb on Hiroshima, and, Friday, 9th Aug., will be Nagasaki’s commemoration of dropping the atomic bomb. Late Roy Tuckman, aka Roy of Hollywood, host of "Something's Happening" on KPFK, and I, would broadcast the entire reading of “The Last Train from Hiroshima” by Charles Pellegrino—13 hours in total. I hope you would agree with me that coverage of the genocide in Palestine supersedes this historical commemoration now. Hour 1) An interview with Richard Forer by the host of India Global Left, on the topic of “Transforming fear into compassion, a new perspective on the Israel-Palestine conflict” from 27 July. Richard Forer is a former Zionist AIPAC member who debunks propaganda about Zionism, Israel, and the Arab world. Link Parampil: https://youtu.be/9Atbki_OQRA Link to Sachs: https://youtu.be/DScHs7cGSBU o Hour 3) An analysis by Marwan Bishara, Al Jazeera’s political commentator, on the topic of “West shamefully legitimized Israel’s shameless war on UNRWA” from 5 Aug. Tuesday night's SHM program guide for 8 Oct. Hi everyone, These shows are educational and informative on the current events in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Sudan, and the world. Now, we know that Palestinians have no partner in peace negotiations! The ICJ has ruled that Palestinian territory is illegally occupied. And furthermore, the UNGA has overwhelmingly backed and voted with Palestinian resolution to end Israeli occupation: of course Israel, US, and a few other countries, including Europeans, voted against it. The Harris/Walz campaign continues to lauding the narrative and myths of rape on Oct 7th and two-state solution while Israeli occupying forces conduct genocide in Palestine. The American Empire keeps breaking “The rules-based international order”--do as I say not as I do— its imposition on the rest of countries, to maintain its hegemony; the global South is determined to change it to “Law-Based International Order” to hold everycountry accountable. These are trying times ...
