Monday night's SHM program guide, 12 Aug Hi everyone, These shows are educational and informative on the current events in Gaza, and Rafah, Palestine, and the world. Now, we know that Palestinians have no partner in peace negotiations with Israeli occupying forces! And, the ICJ has ruled that Palestinian territory is illegally occupied. “The rules-based international order” has been stomped on by its creator. These are trying times for humanity: war, famine, climate change. What’s our strategy to counter and standing up against fascism and genocide? Do we have a plan for this year’s election? Post election? Are we ready to defend the democratic institutions if fascism reigns in the halls of power? What’s the counter program to fascism? What progressive policies do and shall we demand from liberal democracy of Harris and Walz government? These are issues of our times that require our utmost attention! Hour 1) The Ralph Nader Radio Hour (RNRH). Ralph Nader is in conversation with Thomas Abt, founder and director of the Center for the Study and Prctice of Violence Reduction (VRC) on the topic of “Success on the Street” and then with Michael Jacobson, PhD in microbiology, with MIT, author of “Salt Wars”, on the topic of “National Food Museum” from 10 Aug. Link: https://www.ralphnaderradiohour.com/p/homicide-success-on-the-streetnational Or go to ralphnaderradiohour.com; and Ralph Nader’s personal website is nader.org Hiroshima and Nagasaki: Monday, 6 Aug, was the 79th commemoration of dropping the Atomic bomb on Hiroshima, and Friday, 9th Aug., was Nagasaki’s commemoration. Late Roy Tuckman, aka Roy ofHollywood, host of "Something's Happening" on KPFK, and I, would broadcast the entire reading of “The Last Train from Hiroshima” by Charles Pellegrino—13 hours in total. I hope you would agree with me that coverage of the genocide in Palestine supersedes this historical commemoration now. Hour 2) The 79th commemoration of Hiroshima, and Nagasaki, Peace Memorial Ceremony remembering those killed in atomic bombings by US from NHK (Japan Broadcasting Company) news from 9 Aug. Israeli official were not invited to the ceremony in Nagasaki, and as a result, the US and European diplomats boycotted the event. Tuesday night's SHM program guide for 8 Oct. Hi everyone, These shows are educational and informative on the current events in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Sudan, and the world. Now, we know that Palestinians have no partner in peace negotiations! The ICJ has ruled that Palestinian territory is illegally occupied. And furthermore, the UNGA has overwhelmingly backed and voted with Palestinian resolution to end Israeli occupation: of course Israel, US, and a few other countries, including Europeans, voted against it. The Harris/Walz campaign continues to lauding the narrative and myths of rape on Oct 7th and two-state solution while Israeli occupying forces conduct genocide in Palestine. The American Empire keeps breaking “The rules-based international order”--do as I say not as I do— its imposition on the rest of countries, to maintain its hegemony; the global South is determined to change it to “Law-Based International Order” to hold everycountry accountable. These are trying times ...
