Wednesday night's Something's Happening at Midnight program guide, 17 Jan. Hi everyone, Hope all is well. Yesterday, Tuesday, I called the South African Consulate in LA (323-651-0902) and asked the staff to take my name (and where I live) and write down and relay my appreciation and gratitude to the members of the office, embassy, government, and lawyers who presented and defended Palestinians and Palestine at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The Consulate takes calls from 9am to 12noon, M-F. (It is better they hear our vices as a person rather than email for right now--emails might not be read.) I would like to encourage you to do the same and post this action on your social media. The staff was very delighted to hear from me and said that she would pass the message to the higher-ups. Also, a few of us are in the process of writing a letter and will circulate that later as well for all of us to add our names to it. Tuesday night's SHM program guide for 8 Oct. Hi everyone, These shows are educational and informative on the current events in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Sudan, and the world. Now, we know that Palestinians have no partner in peace negotiations! The ICJ has ruled that Palestinian territory is illegally occupied. And furthermore, the UNGA has overwhelmingly backed and voted with Palestinian resolution to end Israeli occupation: of course Israel, US, and a few other countries, including Europeans, voted against it. The Harris/Walz campaign continues to lauding the narrative and myths of rape on Oct 7th and two-state solution while Israeli occupying forces conduct genocide in Palestine. The American Empire keeps breaking “The rules-based international order”--do as I say not as I do— its imposition on the rest of countries, to maintain its hegemony; the global South is determined to change it to “Law-Based International Order” to hold everycountry accountable.
