Wednesday night's program guide for Something's Happening at Midnight, 6 Dec Hi everyone, Hope you are well. I am dedicating time to explore the possibilities of peace in Palestine by bringing analyses of experts on Palestine-Israel, Middle East region, and the American Empire. We must demand immediate ceasefire now, release all political prisoners and hostages, and recognition and implementation of the 1967 UN 242 resolution; OR implement a One-state solution. The bombing of Gaza, Palestine, has turned the “open air prison” city into stone age rubble according toreports. Today, city of Khan Younis was attacked. As of today, the death toll has exceeded 16,000, more than 7000 of them are children; unknown number of injured; and more than 7,000 people, 4700 of whom are children and women, are still missing and believed to be under rubble or their fate is unknown.  There are close to 10,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israel, a large portion of them are less than 18 years old andwomen. More than 50 journalists have been targeted killing. Today, 22 family members of Al Jazeera journalist Moamenal-Sharafi were killed. According to UN, 1.9M, 80% of Palestinian population, have been displaced. Almost 70% of all buildings, including hospitals, have been destroyed and more than 250,000 buildings have been damaged. The sale of KPFK's building has not been finalized yet; however, the station will conduct one day (maybe two) parking lot sale of its "surplus" books, CDs, DVDs, and other fund drive premiums on 16 Dec. Most probably, it will be a fire sale. Here is the lineup of shows for tonight’s program, Wednesday, 6 Dec. Tuesday night's SHM program guide for 8 Oct. Hi everyone, These shows are educational and informative on the current events in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Sudan, and the world. Now, we know that Palestinians have no partner in peace negotiations! The ICJ has ruled that Palestinian territory is illegally occupied. And furthermore, the UNGA has overwhelmingly backed and voted with Palestinian resolution to end Israeli occupation: of course Israel, US, and a few other countries, including Europeans, voted against it. The Harris/Walz campaign continues to lauding the narrative and myths of rape on Oct 7th and two-state solution while Israeli occupying forces conduct genocide in Palestine. The American Empire keeps breaking “The rules-based international order”--do as I say not as I do— its imposition on the rest of countries, to maintain its hegemony; the global South is determined to change it to “Law-Based International Order” to hold everycountry accountable. These are trying times ...
