Tuesday night's program guide for Something's Happening at Midnight, 5 Dec Hi everyone, Hope you are well. I am dedicating time to explore the possibilities of peace in Palestine by bringing to you analyses of experts on Palestine-Israel, Middle East region, and the American Empire. We must demand immediate ceasefire now, release all political prisoners and hostages, and recognition and implementation of the 1967 UN 242 resolution; OR implement a One-state solution. The bombing of Gaza, Palestine, has turned the “open air prison” into stone age rubble according to reports. And today Jabalia was attacked. As of today the death toll has exceeded 15,900,  70% are women and children; 42,000 have been injured; and more than 7,000 people, 4700 of whom are children and women, are still missing and believed to be under rubble or their fate is unknown.  There are close to 10,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israel, a large portion of them are women and young adults less than 18 years. More than 50 journalists have been targeted killing. According to the UN, 1.9M, 80% of the population, Palestinians have been displaced. More than 50,000 homes and almost all hospitals have been destroyed and more than 250,000 buildings have been damaged. The sale of KPFK's building has not been finalized yet; however, the station will conduct one day (maybe two) parking lot sales of its "surplus" books, CDs, DVDs, and other fund drive premiums on 16 Dec.
