Monday night's something's Happening at Midnight program guide for 11 Dec. Hi everyone, Hope you are well. I am dedicating time to explore the possibilities of peace in Palestine by bringing to you analyses of experts on Palestine-Israel, Middle East region, and the American Empire. We must demand immediate ceasefire now, release all political prisoners and hostages, and recognition and implementation of the 1967 UN 242 resolution; OR implement a One-state solution. The bombing of Gaza, Palestine, has turned the “open air prison” into stoneage rubble according to reports. As of today the death toll has exceeded 18,205, 70% are women and children; 49,645 have been injured; thousands and thousands are still missing and believed to be under rubble or their fate is unknown. Now, it is a fact that US made White Phosphorus has been used by the Israeli army in Gaza. There are close to 10,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israel, a large portion of them are less than 18 years old and women. More than 50 journalists have been targeted killing, half of the number globally killed for 2023. According to the UN, 1.9M, 80% of the population of Palestinians, have been displaced. Healthcare system has completely collapsed according to World Health Organization; 22 hospitals have been crippled; 26 primary care centers have been destroyed. Settlers are killing Palestinian civilians in the West Bank.  More than 50,000 homes and almost all hospitals have been destroyed and more than 250,000 buildings havebeen damaged. The sale of KPFK's building has not been finalized yet; however, the station will conduct one day (maybe two) parking lot sales of its "surplus" books, CDs, DVDs, and other fund drive premiums on 16 Dec. Most probably, it will be a fire sale. Here is the lineup of shows for tonight’s program, Monday, 11 Dec. Hour 1) An interview with professor Ilan Pappe by Katie Halper and Aaron Mate on the topic of “Genocide of Palestinians” from 8 Dec. Ilan Pappe is an Israeli historian who had to flee Israel for denouncing historical revisionism about Zionism, Palestine, and Palestinian people; he teaches at the University of Exeter. Tuesday night's SHM program guide for 8 Oct. Hi everyone, These shows are educational and informative on the current events in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Sudan, and the world. Now, we know that Palestinians have no partner in peace negotiations! The ICJ has ruled that Palestinian territory is illegally occupied. And furthermore, the UNGA has overwhelmingly backed and voted with Palestinian resolution to end Israeli occupation: of course Israel, US, and a few other countries, including Europeans, voted against it. The Harris/Walz campaign continues to lauding the narrative and myths of rape on Oct 7th and two-state solution while Israeli occupying forces conduct genocide in Palestine. The American Empire keeps breaking “The rules-based international order”--do as I say not as I do— its imposition on the rest of countries, to maintain its hegemony; the global South is determined to change it to “Law-Based International Order” to hold everycountry accountable. These are trying times ...
