Tuesday night program guide for SHM, 21 Nov Hi everyone, Hope you are well. I am dedicating time to explore the possibilities of peace in Palestine by bringing to you analyses of experts on Palestine-Israel, Middle East region, and the American Empire. We must demand immediate ceasefire now, release all political prisoners and hostages, and recognition and implementation of the 1967 UN 242 resolution; OR implement a One-state solution. The sale of KPFK's building has not been finalized yet; however, the station will conduct two different days of parking lot sales of its "surplus" books, CDs, DVDs, and other fund drive premiums in December. I will provide updates later with dates as they are not scheduled yet. The Thursday night's (24 Nov) programming will be dedicated to Thanksgiving Day with six Old Time Radio shows. Here is the lineup of shows for tonight’s program. Hour 1) A conversation between Jeffrey Sachs and John Mearsheimer, on the topic of “A missed opportunity for Peace”. Jeffrey Sachs is a well known economist, public policy analyst, author, and works with the UN. John Mearsheimer is an author, professor of political science, an international relations theorist, at the university of Chicago. and author many books, including his latest “How States Think”, from 16 Nov. . Now, we know that Palestinians have no partner in peace negotiations! The ICJ has ruled that Palestinian territory is illegally occupied.
