Thursday night's Something's Happening at Midnight program guide, 30 Nov Hi everyone, Hope you are well. Good news: I am providing a downloadable link for each hour of the program so you can listen to it at your convenience. I am dedicating time to explore the possibilities of peace in Palestine by bringing to you analyses of experts on Palestine-Israel, Middle East region, and the American Empire. We must demand immediate ceasefire now, release all political prisoners and hostages, or recognition and implementation of the 1967 UN 242 resolution; OR implement a One-state solution. The bombing of Gaza, Palestine, has turned the “open air prison” city into stone age rubble according to reports; the truce has been extended for another day as more prisoners and hostages are being exchanged. As of Wednesday, 29 Nov, The latest figures on Gaza from the Swiss-based Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor are: the death toll has exceeded 20,030, includes more than 8,176 children, more than 4,112 women; civilian death is 18,460 and 1,730,000, out of 2.2M, people have been displaced. Also more than 7,000 people, 4700 of them are children and women, are still missing and believed to be under rubble or their fate is unknown. More than 50,000 residential buildings in the Gaza Strip have been bombed to the smattering and have damaged another 250,000. The sale of KPFK's building has not been finalized yet; however, the station will conduct two different days of parking lot sales of its "surplus" books, CDs, DVDs, and other fund drive premiums on 16th December--17th is uncertain for now. I will provide updates later with more information. Here is the lineup of shows for tonight’s program, Thursday, 30 Nov Hour 1) A talk by professor Rashid Khalidi the topic of “The Latest Phase of the Hundred Years’ War on Palestine”. Tuesday night's SHM program guide for 8 Oct. Hi everyone, These shows are educational and informative on the current events in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Sudan, and the world. Now, we know that Palestinians have no partner in peace negotiations! The ICJ has ruled that Palestinian territory is illegally occupied. And furthermore, the UNGA has overwhelmingly backed and voted with Palestinian resolution to end Israeli occupation: of course Israel, US, and a few other countries, including Europeans, voted against it. The Harris/Walz campaign continues to lauding the narrative and myths of rape on Oct 7th and two-state solution while Israeli occupying forces conduct genocide in Palestine. The American Empire keeps breaking “The rules-based international order”--do as I say not as I do— its imposition on the rest of countries, to maintain its hegemony; the global South is determined to change it to “Law-Based International Order” to hold everycountry accountable. These are trying times ...
