Notes about the program.
1) The Something's Happening at Midnight, is broadcast on 89.1fm KNSJ from 12midnight to 3am, Monday thru Thursday nights, in the San Diego area, which you can listen to via streaming live at knsj.org website. Our theme music is Time is Tight by Booker T. & MGs.
2) If you miss any of the shows, I might be able to send you the audio files of some of the shows for your convenience as knsj has problems with archiving the shows.
3) Very Important Please Give to knsj (toward the 10th anniversary and) for hosting this show as you have done for kpfk. To send a check, please make it payable to Activists San Diego, which is a fiscal and parent of knsj, and write knsj in the MEMO area (and LA if you wish). Tonight is Tuesday night, and we will have excellent shows covering health and health related issues that are very informative. You might want to take notes so get ready!
Hour 1) a talk by Dr. Meg Richman on “Wealthy and Wise: Diet for Healthy Aging”. Dr. Richman. MD, is Medical Director of Thornton Radiology and Clinical Professor of Radiology at the UC San Diego School of Medicine. The dietary guidelines for Americans emphasize eating more foods from plants, such as vegetables and beans, whole grains, and nuts.

Hour 2) Tami Simon, director of Sounds True, in conversation with Light Watkins on the topic of “Putting your heart-voice into action”. Light Watkins has been a meditation and spiritual teacher for more than 20 years. He is the author of The Travel Light, and many others, the topic of this conversation. What is spiritual minimalism? How do we “declutter” ourselves so we can hear and take action on the voice of our hearts?

Hour 3) Continue with show on the topic of “Science of Eating for Health”, part 3, with Andrew Huberman, Prof. of neurobiology and ophthalmology at Stanford School of Medicine, in conversation with Dr. Layne Norton, one of the world’s experts in nutrition and protein metabolism. This is a very informative conversation which serves as a master class in nutrition, metabolism and exercise. You do want to take note especially about all the acronyms. This show will be divided into many segments.

Now, we know that Palestinians have no partner in peace negotiations!The ICJ has ruled that Palestinian territory is illegally occupied.
