1)The Something's Happening at Midnight, is broadcast on 89.1fm KNSJ from 12midnight to 3am, Monday thru Thursday nights, in the San Diego area, which you can listen to via streaming live at knsj.org website. Our theme music is Time is Tight by Booker T. & MGs.
2) If you miss any of the shows, I might be able to send you the audio files of some of the shows for your convenience as knsj has problems with archiving the shows.
3) Very Important Please Give to knsj (toward the 10th anniversary and) for hosting this show as you have done for kpfk. To send a check, please make it payable to Activists San Diego, which is a fiscal and parent of knsj, and write knsj in the MEMO area (and LA if you wish). Tonight is Monday night and Monday night’sprogramming has morphed into cultural programming and starting tonight for thenext couple of months, we will delve into the economy as well.
Hour 1) the geopolitical Economy Hour series, part 4.This is a conversation/discussion/collaboration between Professor MichaelHudson, economist, author, and Radhika Desai, economist, author, who will discuss many current issues and development inchanging economy, including but not limited to inflation, oil prices dedollarization,and multipolarity. In this program, they will cover “The Rise of USdollar imperialism, and why it failed”.

Hour 2) a talk by Victor Navasky, from AR, on the topicof “Naming Names: The Hollywood Blacklist”, which is based on his book of thesame title. Victor navasky was journalist, historian, and editor and thenpublisher of The Nation magazine. He passed away in Jan 2023.

Hour 3) the Scholars’ Circle show on the topic of “Insightsinto private military corporations,their function and deployment by state and international corporations”, from 23July 2023. Private Military Corporations have become an integral element of thewarfighting landscape—mercenaries. How much can private corporations beregulated? And what are the challenges to regulation?
