Notes about the program.
1)
The Something's Happening at Midnight, is broadcast on 89.1fm KNSJ
from 12midnight to 3am, Monday thru Thursday nights, in the San Diego
area, which you can listen to via streaming live at knsj.org website. Our theme music is Time is Tight by Booker T. & MGs.
2) If you miss any of the shows, I might be able to send you the
audio files of some of the shows for your convenience as knsj has
problems with archiving the shows.
3) Very Important Please Give

Tonight is Monday night and Monday night’s
programming has morphed into cultural programming and for the
next couple of months, we will delve into the economy as well.
Hour 1)
special show: the geopolitical Economy Hour
series, part 3. This is a conversation/discussion/collaboration between
Professor Michael Hudson, economist, author, and Radhika Desai, economist, author,
who will discuss many current issues and
development in changing economy, including but not limited to inflation, oil
prices dedollarization, and multipolarity . In this program, they will
cover “Understanding money and dollar system’s contradictions”.

Hour 2)
a talk by Noam Chomsky, from Alternative Radio (AR), on the topic of
“Censorship, Free speech & the Media”. Noam Chomsky is the greatest intellectual
of our time and a voice for peace and justice; his social/political analyses disturb
and frighten the governing body of the American Empire. David Barsamian
introduces the talk.

Hour 3)
the Scholars’ Circle show on the topic of “History
of California as a Slave State”, from 16 July 2023. This interview with professor Jean Pfaelzer is on
the topic of her recently published with the same. Jean Pfaelzer is a public
historian and professor of American Studies at the University of Delaware. Professor
Jean Pfaelzer shows that, since the very first colonizers crossed the border,
the Golden State was and still is powered by slavery – a piece of American
history that many still try to bury.
