Hour 3) The Chris Hedges Report show; Chris Hedges is in conversation with Green Party candidate Dr. Cornel West on why he is running for president and offers us a chance to fight back against the ruling duopoly. Dr. West is a philosopher, professor, a radical Christian Theologian, and an author. Dr. West’s achievements are too vast to mention all of them here: he is people’s philosopher and has participated in antiwar, peace, and social justice movements in his entire life.

Also, Chris Hedges Report podcast: Listen to this Article: "The Imminent Extradition of Julian Assange and the Death of Journalism" from 20 June. Julian Assange’s legal options have nearly run out. He could be extradited to the U.S. this week. Should he be convicted in the U.S., any reporting on the inner workings of power will become a crime.

These are trying times ...
