Hour 1) A talk by Professor Robin Kelley on the topic of “What is Racial Capitalism and Why Does It Matter?” Professor Kelley teaches U.S. history at UCLA, specializing in African American, African Diaspora, and social movements to mention just a few. He has written many books on race relations and his seminal book is “Freedom Dreams: The Black Radical Imagination”. Here’s Professor Kelley.

Hour 2) A talk by Norman Solomon, from Alternative Radio with David Barsamian, on the topic of “War Crimes & War Criminals”. Norman Solomon is a political commentator and media critic. He is the executive director of the Institute for Public Accuracy and co-founder of RootsAction.org, an online activist group. He is the author of many books including War Made Invisible.

Hour 3) Scholars’ Circle show on the topic of “Food Insecurity and Famine, Why they persist”, from 28 May 2023. Famine and food insecurity threaten the lives of nearly a billion people worldwide.
